Editing Videos, My Introduction

Back when I was 16, I was that awkward homeschooled kid. Obsessed with video editing, I started off by joining YouTube and creating slideshows to my favorite movies at the time (Keira Knightley’s Pride & Prejudice and Pirates of the Caribbean). Fast forward a few years and I was making graduation and memorial videos for friends. My first camera was a gift from a friend’s dad in return for filming my friend’s wedding. After doing a few more video projects, I took a break because I wasn’t sure if I could do the whole “owning my own business.” So I dabbled in college finally graduating with a B.S. in Business Marketing.

Experience

I did the corporate work thing as a Marketing/Communications Manager for non-profits and corporations. Filming videos ranging from business interviews to weddings, I have used my accumulated knowledge of marketing combined with my years of editing and filming experience to create a unique business strategy for each client.

Evolving, What BSP is Today

Today, my business has expanded from my being a solo shooter/editor to working with my husband (drone operator/audio technician) to a multi-camera/drone videography setup. Working together, we record events and handle all post-production. We also offer a simple two speaker and mic setup for your indoor/outdoor events, planning, and even first-dance lessons (Bluann is also a dance-instructor).
